神 (kami)

   Used as a modifier: superlative, flawless. 神対応 is exemplary conduct, 神回 is a perfect episode, 神アプリ is an app that does exactly what you needed.

   Of a person, someone who has just saved you: 'you're a lifesaver'.

Literally: God; deity.

• 充電器貸してくれるの？神！

  You'll lend me your charger? You absolute legend.

• あの店員さんの神対応、忘れられない。

  The way that member of staff handled it was faultless.

Where it comes from

Not felt as blasphemous: 神 in Shinto covers a vast range of local and minor deities, so calling a helpful stranger one is a smaller claim than the English translation makes it sound.
