詰んだ (tsunda)

   I'm done for; there's no way out of this. Said of a situation with no remaining options, usually with more theatre than despair.

Literally: Checkmated (in shogi, to have no legal move left).

  This assignment being due tomorrow is completely unsurvivable.

Where it comes from

From shogi, where 詰み is the mating position. It reached everyday speech via games and online forums in the 2000s, and is a rare case of board-game jargon becoming general slang.
