혼술 (honsul)

   Drinking alone, by choice and usually at home — a beer with a film rather than a problem.

   Genuinely new as an acceptable activity. Korean drinking has historically been collective, down to the rule that you do not pour your own glass.

   That rule still holds in company: you fill others' glasses and let someone fill yours.
