Dominikanisches Spanisch: ein Slangbegriff. Dominikanischer Slang von A bis Z.

Was es bedeutet

Wörtlich: it's all there

Beispiele mit Übersetzung

  • Nos vemos a la' ocho entonce'. — Ta' to'.

Wir sehen uns dann um acht. – Alles klar.

  • Tato, no hay lío.

    Alles gut, kein Problem.

Woher es kommt

A compression of 'está todo bien'. Both final consonants are aspirated away — the /s/ of está and the /d/ of todo — which is why it is written with apostrophes or, increasingly, as the single word tato. The spelling tato is now dominant in messaging.
